I have been thinking a lot about upcoming events that I will be presenting at, including our retreat. It has my head spinning with thoughts and ideas that I am exploring. It is necessary to seek personal revelation, confirmation and help from the spirit as we work to implement new "spiritual technology" or gifts into our lives and our work. As I have talked with so many people, and as this "energy healing" thing has exploded in popularity lately, I see that because learning is hard and often tedious, some are choosing the easy way. They want easy explanations and easy, fast tools, an instant download of magical gifts and abilities or knowledge. They say "I prayed about it and asked for it, but I didn't get it. This must not be right." But where is your responsibility? Where is your effort? Is your desire to search and receive, more powerful than your desire for easy?
There are laws laid out for us. There are proper ways of acquiring all that we desire. I love this quote. "For each of you to receive revelation unique to your own needs and responsibilities, certain guidelines prevail. The Lord asks you to develop “faith, hope, charity and love, with an eye single to the glory of God.” Then with your firm “faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, godliness, charity, humility, [and] diligence,” you may ask, and you will receive; you may knock, and it will be opened unto you." (Elder Russell M. Nelson, October 2009 General Conference)
All lot has happened since I last wrote on this blog. My life has definitely taken some twists and turns, but I am headed in a great direction. I am happy to introduce a program that will change my life for sure and I hope it will change yours too. I am starting an online classroom this fall. There are so many of you that need to know how to take care of and heal your families and yourselves. I truly believe that we were sent here at this time in history for a reason. I am excited to live in this time, despite the many challenges we face. Our food is corrupt, our air and water are polluted, we are stressed out, over (or under) worked, as a society our morals and values are under constant attack. We live in a world where good is seen as bad and bad is celebrated at every turn. So why am I grateful to live in this time? Because with great trials come great blessings.
It may seem to many of you that evil abounds, to be honest it seems that way to me every time I look at a news or current event story. But along side all this corruption, unannounced and un broadcast, the Lord's work is being done. Miracles are being preformed, mysteries are being revealed, the Lord's people are being prepared and blessed in ways that blow my mind.
I am a healer in the midst of sickness and disease. I am enjoying the good work that is mine to do. I have purpose and direction in a world that is lost and in despair. I am letting my light shine and glorifying my Heavenly Father by being obedient to His call.
My prayer for all of you who find your way to my blog is that you will have a desire to have meaningful work, you will accept miracles in your lives, you will embrace healing in you body, mind and spirit. If you choose to take this journey with me, come check out my online classes this fall. I have so much to teach you. There are answers to your questions. There is healing balm for your wounds. The knowledge is here and you can have it.
